Come out on Sunday, September 17th to join the big march in NYC, to telegraph the message to President Biden and international leaders at the UN that we need to declare a climate emergency and shut down fossil fuels NOW.

Transportation: We strongly encourage you to take public transportation. Here are a few options:
Hudson Line of Metro North: Take the 9:06 train from Tarrytown to Grand Central, or the same train from another station. There is abundant FREE parking at the train station on the river side of the train line. Then meet in Grand Central by 11 am at the bottom of the east side stairs in the great hall. Look for the Sierra Club banner.
Harlem Line of Metro North: Take the 10:23 train from White Plains to Grand Central, or the same train from another station. There is abundant FREE parking at most train stations. Then meet in Grand Central by 11 am at the bottom of the east side stairs in the great hall. Look for the Sierra Club banner.
New Haven Line of Metro North: Take the 9:18 train from Rye to Grand Central, or the same train from another station. There is abundant FREE parking at most train stations. Then meet in Grand Central by 11 am at the bottom of the east side stairs in the great hall. Look for the Sierra Club banner.
Take the NJ line train from Nanuet to Secaucus Junction, then switch to the train to the city. Take the A train to Columbus Circle.

Meeting spot to march with Sierra Club: It is definitely more fun to march with a group! If you are going directly to the March, you can find Sierra Club ahead of time at the "Maine Monument", at the southwest corner of Central Park at Columbus Circle, arriving by noon.
