I was introduced to Barbara via the Center for Action and Contemplation's 2018 Conspire conference, where she was one of the featured presenters.

 

Barbara A. Holmes is a spiritual teacher, activist, and scholar focused on African American spirituality, mysticism, cosmology and culture.

She is also part of the core faculty at the Center for Action and Contemplation's Living School.
