Here's a preview of Janet's "She Speaks" presentation

[From intro to the article with my added emphases] Intro: I have been working on a project inspired by Charlene Spretnak and her book Lost Goddesses of Early Greece. I am writing biblical stories through the eyes and words of the women. The scribes who wrote down the tales of the bible, wrote mostly from men’s point of view. And they had their own which was to destroy evidence of the Goddesses. I tell Noah’s story through Naamah, his wife. Abram and Sarai’s journey to Egypt through the eyes of Sarah. Exodus in Miriam’s voice. In my telling, Miriam went to Midian with Moses and, while there, experienced the Burning Bush and worked with Moses’ wife Zipporah to protect knowledge of the Goddesses.
[more from the article with my added emphases] Here is another sample of our work. When people pray to a being called the Almighty, they might be picturing a large muscle-bound man rising out of a roiling cloud and throwing thunderbolts. Little do they realize they are praying to a female deity. Almighty in Hebrew is Shaddai and shad means breasts. The goddess with breasts is the same female divinity who created the Milky Way in the heavens from the overflow of her own milky teats. The same Goddess who sends down the gentle dew that coats the earth in the early morn, who coaxes the shoots to grow and the buds to blossom. Our Goddesses were not thunderbolt types of deities. They tended more towards caring for Her Earth children. But don’t let that fool you. They could handle thunderbolts with the best of them, it just wasn’t their preferred source of power.
"...new mother suckles her son..."...tOM's add-ers : ))))
Based on my last name, I give myself permission to expound with a musical reference to Janet's piece...
See, I woke up during the night thinking about Janet's post and these Moody Blues lyrics started playing in my mind:
"...new mother suckles her son..."

The myth of the milk of Hera (Ancient Greek: Ἥρας γάλα, romanized: Hḗras gala) is an ancient Greek myth and explanation of the origin of the Milky Way within the context of creation myths. The standard telling goes that the mythical hero Heracles, as an infant, breastfed from an unsuspecting Hera, the goddess of marriage and Zeus's wife, who threw him away, causing a little bit of her milk to splash and create the galaxy with all its stars.
