Mike, Didn't you once tell me that after you repainted your V-Dub (Readers, see next section)...you got stopped by a cop and he said something about how the color on your registration ("white") didn't match the car he was looking at...Would you mind finishing the story?...

Readers: Back when we were younger...so much younger than today...Many of the crew and even my family had VW's...Beetles, Buses, Karmann Ghias...and Mike had a white Beetle Convertible on which he painted the complete logo for the Endless Summer movie and album cover art...FYI - I discovered my career choice "playing with cars" as friend and fellow surfer Steve B used to call it. BTW - Steve got me started turning wrenches...THANKS, BUDDY!
