Today, the vernal equinox, is a high holy day for the annual ritual known as spring cleaning. To honor this day, I’ve found some cartoons that show the various ways people practice this ancient rite.
As I was doing this earlier today, guess who came to mind? Yup, Mom! She expressed where her priorities were in her poem “Song of the Housewife” (from "The God of the Universe Dances in Trees" by Catherine Tittmann). Thanks, Mom, for setting us free to ignore this annual ritual.
Enjoy!
